again and i just don't really like the way that romney and ryan are so conservative. >> i think brian's closing statement was far superior to biden. >> biden was able to speak out more. biden was sent out loud as long of a period of time as paul ryan weiss. and i suggest that when obama comes back again, he takes is some alarm clock so we can see who is talking more. >> i think it was nauseating the way that mr. biden laughed all the way through. disney take anything serious? he has been a and as incompetent as obama. >> ryan held his own. he was very strong in his answers. he was very calm, very respectful. and by the way, who put a burr in joe biden snickers? he was very sarcastic, very angry and frustrated. >> i think that there could have been more clarity on ryan's part as far as turning to deliver -- taking a little more charge and what he was trying to implement. you know, i mentioned before that the biden side was little more used car salesman. he spat out exactly how he felt about it and i think ryan could've done a lot better. >> i'm kind of frustrated that they didn't

negative message against romney in ryan. pick up where the president didn't do that well lesley gore didn't mention at all. i'm thinking of issues idea of a bailout, social security, the proposal on that, the medicare issue, the 47%, and that romney made for a stunned obama. and then of course store romney's income taxes. those are all issues that i think we will hear from joe biden on. and it is very different than what biden past four years ago. the biggest challenge then was don't patronize sarah palin. try to afford her a certain degree of respect, and this is a different time. a very different opponent. >> already been up rebuttal as they try to set expectations for the debate on thursday. let me share with you what paul ryan said on the fox news channel live last month. >> fast on the cuff, which the night. he knows who he is, and he has been doing this for 40 years. you're not going to rattle him. he has been on the national stage. ever-present twice from a sitting vice president. what i hope to achieve is to give people a very different alternative. he is very get the attack.

on congressman ryan's positions on the issues. and governor romney has embraced at least everything i can see. i don't want to say anything in the debate that's not completely accurate. for example, i've been saying to you all that governor romney has embraced the ryan budget. well, he has. i just want to make sure that when i say these things that i don't have a congressman saying no, i don't have the position or that's not the governor's position. so it's mainly getting the factual predicates for everything that common key issues on which governor romney has spoken and congressman ryan has added. so thank you all. >> vice president making his comments last week. jonathan martin as we wrap up with the, why change from denver to danville, kentucky, in terms of the obama campaign and approaching these debates? >> they will want a much more aggressive forward leading joe biden than have in the president last week. joe biden does not have imperative to the presidential. he will be more a traditional attack dog, and so remarkable steve, and the clip you just played, the leading joe biden

did a tour in iraq and god left him, he thought for our country. and romney in mind, first off, let's get something real clear here once and for all. as far as the sequester cut goes, that is obama's being. it was congressman paul ryan thing because they were too immature to act like grown-ups and make a deal, okay? obama had nothing to do with it. it was paul ryan and the congress. selected that clear once and for all. >> host: castling. >> guest: i think one of diminished on trade issues is the question of leadership and that's we heard a lot from that romney about leadership and what kind of role is obama projecting and by extension, what leadership really seaplane as well as here at home in guiding and shaping how we use our national resources. i do think although the polls may not register that much significance to any foreign policy issue, that when it comes to the broader question of leadership, that is a part of what people are going to be casting those done. i think there's an opportunity as romney clearly identified to criticize obama as a leader. >> host: president o
